Our 2025-2026 Retreat Speaker
Myka Rutter has been a YMJAer since she was 15 years old at a Southeast retreat.
Over the years Myka has served the YMJA in many ways, including helping at the YMJA Southwest Regional Conference and volunteering for many years on the Leadership Team for Messiah Conference. At her very first Messiah Conference she met Nick, her future husband. Together they now co-lead a young adults group at Congregation Beth Hallel in Georgia, where they also serve on the worship team.
In April 2024, Myka transitioned to full-time ministry with The Road to Jerusalem. Before answering this call, she worked as a barista and managed a trendy third‑wave coffee shop, mastering both beverages and hospitality.
When she’s not leading worship or on a missions trip, you’ll find Myka in her kitchen, loving every moment of hosting friends and serving them home-cooked meals.
Above all, Myka’s passion is to see each young person walk fully into their God‑given identity, firmly rooted in the love of Yeshua—radiating confidence, purpose, and belonging.

Who Can Attend?
Any young person between the ages of 13-21 years old
Chaperones:
Youth leaders, congregational volunteers, and parents are welcome to chaperone once approved. The YMJA requires a background check to be submitted that is no more than 2 years old. Please note, chaperones are required to pay the retreat cost and fill out the registration form. Please email maggie@ymaj.org if you are interested in registering as a chaperone.
How Much Does It Cost?
- $189 for early registration
- $225 for late registration
- $10 for YMJA 2024/2025 membership dues
(If you are a new member to the YMJA or have not paid the 2024/2025 YMJA membership dues)
How to Register and Pay:
Click the button for your region’s retreat (make sure you register for the right one!).
Follow the directions and fill out the forms and complete payment (if you prefer to pay by check, please select the “pay later” option).
Please note: Registration includes housing (separate cabins for ladies and gentlemen), all activities, and meals beginning with breakfast on Saturday morning and ending with lunch on Sunday. Registration is only complete when all forms, waivers, and payments are completed.
