About YMJA

The Young Messianic Jewish Alliance (YMJA) is a national Messianic Jewish youth organization for young people, ages 13-30. We are the youth branch of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, the largest association of Messianic Jewish believers in the world.

How did it all begin? In 1967, a group of young adults decided that they wanted to express their faith in Yeshua without losing their Jewish identity. They began meeting together where they’d write music, encourage one another, and pray together. Many of these young adults went on to become leaders in today’s Messianic Jewish movement.

Today, the YMJA serves teens, college & career-aged young adults, and Messianic youth leaders & youth workers by providing a variety of events and opportunities throughout the year. Each year, we offer 5 youth-only retreats, youth programs at MJAA regional conferences, a week-long youth conference at the MJAA national Messiah conference, a Messianic leadership training summit, and an international ministry trip (every other year). We’re also thrilled to provide ways to get connected and volunteer throughout the year such as through our regional representative leadership training program, prayer team, Messiah Conference leadership team, and more.
