Look what YMJA Conference Attendee, Johnny Wiginton wrote about last year's program:

The Regional Conference in Oklahoma City was great fun, but there was much more to it than simply a vacation. The conference is a great time to grow closer to God, learn more about Him, and learn how to stand up for your faith. I really enjoyed meeting and socializing with other young people my age who also believe in Yeshua. The first thing I learned that weekend was to be on fire for God all the time. Even if we work around nonbelievers, we should let our light shine (Matthew 5:16). One great way we learned to do this is to “live offensively”. This doesn’t mean we should walk up to people and start telling them that they’ll go to hell if they don’t accept Yeshua. All it means is that we should want people to know that we love the Lord and how much we love Him. Another great thing we learned is how to really put on the full armor of God. Every time you worship the Lord, witness to a nonbeliever, or maybe just read from the Word, you have to ask yourself, “Am I really putting on the armor of God, or am I just reading the Bible just to read?” There is a big difference between just reading or talking and really loving God with your whole heart and putting all your trust in Him. We need to make sure that we have made this faith our faith. How can we expect ourselves to fully honor God if we don’t claim the Messianic faith as our own? It has to be ours before we can pass it on to others. That, and much, much more is what was discussed and learned in the 2007 Heartland Regional YMJA conference. Like I said before, to grow in Yeshua, you must be around those who are already in Yeshua. If you are a youth reading this article and have not joined the YMJA, I would highly recommend that you do so; join to learn more about Yeshua-- and for a great, fun experience.
